THE PROGRAM SOLUTION
After arriving in Paris, we provided private transportation to the accommodation. After settling in, we dove into our week long trip with a walking tour around the City of Lights, followed by an evening free to relax and prepare for the exciting week ahead. The following day, we had a welcome to Paris lunch, feasting on French cuisine. After lunch, we had a behind the scenes visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. The third day was centered around the legendary Parisian brand, Chanel. We embarked on a walking tour of Chanel’s life story before a guided visit of the textile collection at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs.
The next day of our tour shined a spotlight on sustainability in fashion. We visited a major fashion house brand that o to get an insider look into what it takes to make “sustainable fashion.” Afterwards, we were guided through the Musée Galliera, Paris’ museum of fashion and its history. Our fashion journey continued with a concentration on visual merchandising. We began with a guided tour of the fashion visual merchandising at the Palais Royal, home to boutique stores such as Louboutin and Stella McCartney. Private transport then took us to Versailles where we received a guided tour of the palace grounds and gardens.
Our final full day in Paris enveloped us in scents, with a tour of the Perfume Museum where we discovered the history of perfume making. During our perfume workshop, we had the chance to concoct our very own 100ml “Eau de Toilette.” We then headed to a modern day perfumery to understand the business behind perfume making in Paris. After a free afternoon, we concluded our week long exploration with an elegant dinner cruise on the Seine. Our tour ended the following day with private transportation to the airport.
